The tagline for the stationary store Staples is ‘that was easy’. Perhaps they should consider a re-think after our price comparison shows just how much you can save by shopping with Ink Trader.
Here at Ink Trader we pride ourselves on bringing you the lowest prices available, which is something that larger chains don’t seem to be interested in. As an example, we decided to check out the prices of buying your ink cartridges from the Staples website to buying from Ink Trader. The following comparisons were carried out on May 22nd, 2014.
We started by seeing how much it would be to buy some ink cartridges for an HP Envy 4502 printer. On the Staples site we decided to add an Original HP 301 combo pack along with an extra 301XL black ink cartridge to our basket. Each of these costs £25.00, giving us a total of £50.00. Sound like a lot to spend on ink cartridges? That’s because it is; the exact same products from Ink Trader come in at a total of just £32.70! That’s a total saving of £17.30.
Next we decided to give Staples a go for buying a set of XL ink cartridges for a Canon PIXMA MG4250 printer. We added a PG-540XL and a Cl-541XL cartridge to our basket on the Staples website. The high capacity black cartridge costs £23.50 and the high capacity tri-colour cartridge is going for £20.50. This gives us a total of £44.00. Over at Ink Trader, these cartridges are only £15.95 each, not only that but we offer a combo pack, which Staples currently do not, costing a total of just £31.50! That’s a huge saving saving of £12.50.
We really are dedicated to making our prices the best available online, but feel free to make the comparisons yourself, if you manage to find our products cheaper elsewhere we guarantee to beat them!
